What is your shipping policy?

We use Royal Mail signed for delivery for all UK deliveries, where all packages are covered by Royal Mail Insurance and will need to be signed for on receipt. If there is no-one at the delivery address, Royal Mail may deliver to a close neighbour or attempt to re-deliver the next working day- in both instances a calling card with further instructions should be left by Royal Mail.  You will be responsible for retrieving the undelivered parcels or arranging a further delivery.  All non UK deliveries are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed.  These are fully tracked with a signature, delivery and online confirmation. This is available to 65 destinations. For details visit royalmail.com/international.  All other countries where the service is unavailable, orders will be sent via Royal Mail international signed. This service tracks the parcel up until the point where it leaves the UK however the parcel is not tracked en-route to the required destination.

When will my order be dispatched?

NASI will dispatch your order as quickly as possible providing the item is in stock. This should be approximately 3-5 working days from the purchase date within the UK.  Transit times for Europe and worldwide will vary. NASI takes no responsibility for any transit delays that may occur in the postal system.  For countries outside the UK we will attempt a delivery date within 3 weeks from the order date. NASI will not be responsible for any customs or import fees, therefore buyers should check whether they might be subject to any import duties or taxes before purchase which will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.  Should you need an item for a certain date or special occasion please contact us and we will try our best to meet them.

Returns

Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.  All NASI jewellery is handfinished and the stones within them are all real genuine gemstones therefore slight alterations from the images and each piece may occur due to the stones being a part of nature.  Please notify us by emailing us via tamara@nasisilver.com within 14 days of receiving your item.  Until the item reaches us, it remains the responsibility of the customer therefore we would recommend returning the item using a tracked delivery service as we cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in the post.  Items must be returned undamaged in their original packaging.   Once we receive the item, considering it is not damaged and it is still in its original condition we will process a refund within 7 working days.  We will not refund the return postal costs and cannot be responsible for the time in which your bank may take to clear funds.

My Item was received damaged or faulty. What should I do?

Whilst we make every effort to ensure your item is presented to you at a high standard, we cannot be held responsible for the condition in which you receive the package.  If the item(s) inside appear to be damaged or faulty please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Caring for NASI

Your NASI jewellery should be handled with care at all times. All sterling silver will tarnish over time, but this can happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine and acidic skin PH.  The amount of tarnishing (oxidisation) that occurs is dependant on the skin and care habits of the wearer.  Tarnishing is therefore not a manufacturing fault. Tarnishing, however is not a problem and can be easily resolved by using a microfiber polishing cloth to clean your silver jewellery. We also recommend that you do not wear your jewellery whilst bathing, whilst in bed or during sporting activities.  To prevent misshaping, store your jewellery carefully after wear.

Our 9 Carat Gold jewellery should follow the same recommendations as the silver if you want to preserve its lustre.

No matter how much we care for our jewellery, we can’t entirely protect them from coming into contact with outside particles. To refresh the lustre of your gold jewellery, simply mix some non-toxic soap into a bowl of warm water, dip your jewellery into and then proceed to gently scrub the pieces using a soft brush. Wash it off with clean water, and let is dry completely before wearing or storing it.

The process of plating is when a layer of gold is placed onto the surface of another metal. In our case it is placed onto 925 silver. As the base material is not 100% solid gold extra care should always be taken to maximise the plating on that piece of jewellery.

Here are some tips to restore the lustre of your gold plated jewellery.

  • Please avoid spraying perfume and other sprays while wearing your gold- plated jewellery.

  • Make sure you wait until your body is dry from lotion or creams before wearing the gold plated jewellery.

  • Oil, sweat, nail polish, perfume and chlorine can all react with the plated jewellery causing it to tarnish. Please remove your jewellery before you exercise, swim and other activities where these substances may be involved

  • After wear, clean your jewellery with a cotton ball or a soft cloth which will remove any dirt and dust. Use a soft jewellery cloth NOT a polishing cloth as this could conflict with the plating.

  • When storing your gold plated jewellery, to avoid scratches, wrap it in a soft cloth after cleaning or keep in a jewellery box not touching other jewellery. Zip- lock bags or pouches are fabulous for storing gold plated jewellery.
